Natali e Lynn Goff, creator of intuitPaint has been immersed in Healing Arts for over 25 years.
Meditation, Intuitive movement, Shiatsu, Dance, Yoga, danceAwakening, The continuum has been my muse for a very long time. Blessed to have studied with exquisite teachers for many years. Painting found me as a natural result of years of learning to follow my bodies natural movement intelligence. Years before, At Sanfrancisco State I took an Art Appreciation courses and fell in love with Artists, their lives and the beauty and intensity of the history they were recording. I have seen over and over and over again that in this process the Painting becomes a mantra of love and encouragement to trust one's own creative intelligence. In learning to trust one's own intuition, taking risks becomes an intregal part of the creative dance, moment to moment.

Although I was a Fine Arts major in college...it wasn't until I started
painting at Natalies studio where I discovered an un-tapped reserve of
creative energy that was surpisingly vast and rich and just needed to bemined.
What appeals to me most, above and beyond Natalies relaxed, non-judgemental
guidance, is that I don't have to paint a bowl of fruit or a nude model or
some other object. Instead, I paint my feelings, using my hands instead of
brushes, from the inside out. How cool is that? I love feeling the thick
cold paint squish between my fingers. I feel like I have more control andmore fun that way.
Now, because I don't paint objects anymore, and instead focus on the
abstract, no one can say that my bowl of fruit isn't good enough. That
frees up my creative energy form feeling like I'll be judged and feels goodto me.
In addition, this whole process has helped me to take chances and not be
afraid to wreck a painting if I'm stuck and not happy with it. Now, if I
don't like it, I'm not afraid to take a fistful of paint and smear it all
over the canvas just to see what kind of new direction I'll go in. Its
all very non pre-determined...like driving without directions and just
having faith in yourself that you'll somehow arrive at your destination.
You figure it out as you go and enjoy the journey.

mood. My hands are my brushes, and they do the rest.
